in Interview Magazine’s Dec 2012 issue, Larry Gagosian states simply,

the electrifying paintings he is referring to would be those of Jean-Michel Basquiat. it was the early 80s. street art was turning the art world upside down.

from Space Oddity to Rebel Rebel (my personal favorite for many reasons) and then to Fame (co-written by John Lennon), Bowie debuted looks that still carry forth from the late 60’s into 2012. wayfares? neon-colored hair? bold striped blazers? yup, Bowie did it all.

who doesn’t like a 6am dance party? especially when its being hosted by everyone’s favorite Mister Saturday Night?

happy new year dance freaks, and for those of you wearing pretty little heels not for dancing (probably like myself, who will collapse after about an hour of dancing in my awesome heels), this place hosts great lounging areas and as mister saturday night describes it, “nooks and corners to get a little lost in.”
